It’s Never Too Late To Start Anew!

Hello! Welcome to my website. I offer sound, helpful advice on the best ways to achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle to individuals and community groups in the Rotherham area. As a mature lady myself, I feel I can speak out with total candour to those in my age group who might be feeling a bit negative about their outward appearance and their general fitness. I understand how easy it is sometimes to become downhearted, locked into a cycle of dead-end thought processes that are really quite damaging to your physical condition and collude to chip away at your self-esteem.

Unhelpful attitudes like:

“Oh well, what’s the point at my age, anyway?”

“Yes, it all sounds great, but it’s come too late to do me any good.”

“I’ve tried and tried to lose weight before, but I’ve always found it impossible.”

“I’ve always been this size – it’s just the way I am.”

All the above attitudes are of course complete nonsense! Obesity can be avoided and lives can be turned around if there is a real willingness and a desire on the part of the individual. I can show you how...

Whether it’s done on a one-to-one basis or as part of a course in, say, an exercise class or amongst a group of like-minded friends, I have the knowledge and the experience that will ensure the maximum benefit can be successfully achieved. I can also enlighten you about some practical and sensible ways you can prepare and enjoy good healthy food, ways that you will find really interesting. (Nobody looks forward to the prospect of another boring lecture on avoiding junk food. Lectures are rarely helpful for people who are often already at the end of their tether.)

So, if you’re fed up with a daily ritual of squeezing yourself into your clothes rather than getting dressed, frightened to look sideways-on at your reflection in the mirror, depressed at your seeming inability to shake off bad habits and a torpid attitude, wary of taking that first small step to turning your life around, then it’s probably time you and I had a little chat!

We’ve all seen the glossy magazines in the supermarket with their tales of this diet or that diet succeeding miraculously, some new-fangled exercise machine or even some kind of magical pills to sort you out once and for all. But you’ve got to be honest with yourself: nobody ever lost weight or improved their fitness by reading magazine articles – you’ve got to take matters into your own hands!

Once you’ve made that decision, I’ll be with you all the way to encourage and support you on the good ‘getting better’ days, the gloomy ‘going nowhere’ days, and the days when you come off the rails altogether. Just remember: a lapse is not a collapse! Believe me, I’ve seen it all before.
The most important thing is to remember that you’re a fighter, not a quitter. You just keep your eye on the prize and you’ll find the rewards are great: a descending dress size, a farewell to that spare tyre and neck jowls you thought you’d never lose, climbing stairs without becoming breathless, having a spring in your step, a pair of sparkling eyes, a bright smile and a fresh, glowing complexion... it’s all there for the taking!
